Virlanie Foundation Inc., a private non-stock institution looking out for street children in the Philippines, is urgently hiring for the following positions;

1. Grant Writing Lead
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Marketing or
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree; Journalism, Writing or equivalent MA completion is an advantage.
• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience as grant writer or equivalent
• A solid understanding of budgets as they relate to proposals and grants
• Experienced in working with International public and/or private organization

2. Donor Acquisition and Retention Lead
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Marketing or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience related to donor acquisition and retention
• Knowledge and/or experience in local fundraising markets and practices
• Knowledge and/or experience in handling different types of accounts (major donor, individual donor, medium-sized donation, sponsorship program.
• Knowledge and/or experience in fundraising reporting and analysis
• Knowledge and/or experience in database systems, reporting and management

3. Communication Lead
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media, Journalism, Mass Communications or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Communications or equivalent.

4. Livelihood Project Coordinator
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Others, Commerce, Social Work, Urban Studies/Town Planning or equivalent
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Professional work experience on livelihood approaches on poverty alleviation and setting up & management of micro enterprises and fund management.

5. Magellan Learning Center (MLC) Teacher
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam)
• Minimum 1 year experience in teaching young adults in a sheltered workshop environment specializing in Education
• Flexible, dynamic, team player

6. Occupational Therapist
• Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy
• At least 6 months of experience in occupational therapy of children with disability
• Knows the bio psychosocial relationship between body functions and structures, activities and participation, and also environmental factors. This knowledge is based on medical and social science principles and on specific occupational therapy models, means and methods
• Excellent judgment and discernment skills, maturity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of children’s records.

Full-Time Research Coordinator - UP Manila


The Emerging Interdisciplinary Research (EIDR) on Drug Use and Behavioral Health of the Department of Behavioral Sciences of the University of the Philippines Manila is looking for full-time Research Coordinator who will handle the following duties:

1. Coordinate with local government units regarding the conduct of the research;
2. Oversee the conduct of fieldwork of the research assistants;
3. Troubleshoot fieldwork problems and issues;
4. Prepare, collate and/or write technical reports;
5. Supervise the functions of the administrative assistant;
6. Coordinate with UP offices regarding administrative matters of the EIDR project;
7. Assist in the conduct of the intervention program for clienteles in the community;
8. Coordinate the advocacy and information campaign program of the EIDR project; and
9. In the absence of the primary and co-investigators, represent the EIDR Project in meetings and other social functions.

The ideal candidate must have a degree in Behavioral Science such as Psychology, Anthropology and Sociology, or Community Development or Social Work, preferably with Master's Degree, strong research background, attention to detail and people skills.
Monthly compensation is P30,000.00 gross income plus daily subsistence allowance during fieldwork activities.
