Full-Time Research Coordinator - UP Manila


The Emerging Interdisciplinary Research (EIDR) on Drug Use and Behavioral Health of the Department of Behavioral Sciences of the University of the Philippines Manila is looking for full-time Research Coordinator who will handle the following duties:

1. Coordinate with local government units regarding the conduct of the research;
2. Oversee the conduct of fieldwork of the research assistants;
3. Troubleshoot fieldwork problems and issues;
4. Prepare, collate and/or write technical reports;
5. Supervise the functions of the administrative assistant;
6. Coordinate with UP offices regarding administrative matters of the EIDR project;
7. Assist in the conduct of the intervention program for clienteles in the community;
8. Coordinate the advocacy and information campaign program of the EIDR project; and
9. In the absence of the primary and co-investigators, represent the EIDR Project in meetings and other social functions.

The ideal candidate must have a degree in Behavioral Science such as Psychology, Anthropology and Sociology, or Community Development or Social Work, preferably with Master's Degree, strong research background, attention to detail and people skills.
Monthly compensation is P30,000.00 gross income plus daily subsistence allowance during fieldwork activities.
